Title: Hospital Custodian

Pay Rate: $14-$15  hourly!!

Hours and Days: you choose!

Monday - Friday 2nd shift (3pm-11:00pm)


Monday -Friday 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am)

Location: Mission Hospital on Biltmore Ave, in Asheville NC

Lifting Restrictions: Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively

Experience Required: 1-3 years years

 Job Duties:

  General Custodian duties for 2nd shift will consist of cleans offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas. Replenishes paper and soap products in bathrooms, cleans mirrors, walls, showers, sinks, urinals, metalwork, and toilets. Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.

  3rd shift Custodian duties consist of sweeps, mops, vacuums, and floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Washes walls, ceilings, vents, and woodwork. Washes windows, blinds, door panels, ledges, and sills. Cleans water fountains. Dusts furniture, light fixtures, and equipment.

  All shifts will assists in project cleaning, which includes lifting and removing furniture from rooms. Provides assistance with any outside cleaning, which may include sweeping sidewalks and picking up trash.

  Operates various types of equipment, hand trucks, vacuum cleaners, backpack vacuum cleaners.

  Assists in the completion of the workload in the absence of other service workers.

  Reports any malfunctions/maintenance problems to the supervisor. Discusses work problems and/or schedule problems with supervisors and/or management. May be required to lock and / or unlock doors. Attends training meetings and sessions as directed
  

  
  

Requirements: Must be willing to work independently with little supervision.

Salary: $15.00
