What we're looking for:

Adopting the cut-edge technologies, applications, practices, methodologies and tools analyze and work with BI engineers to transform large amounts of diverse business data into valuable and meaningful information that can be used to support enterprise-wide business decision-making.Show strong knowledge of the SCM processes and KPIs as well as ERP and CRM systems while working closely with different business segments and internal/external business users.Contribute to data analysis, design and development of new and ongoing business intelligence (BI) projects involving complex data structures or systems.

Position Overview

The Predictive Analytics & Insights Director will partner with the Sr. Director, Marketing Intelligence to create a holistic data-driven intelligence strategy to include lead scoring, predictive modeling, advanced insights, and the company's omni-channel targeting & segmentation strategy. This role will oversee a team of data scientists to develop an advanced analytics and insights practice focused on improving Marketing Effectiveness. They will also be responsible for leveraging mathematical and statistical methods to present findings and recommendations to leadership which will then be used to improve various initiatives within the Marketing Organization and our cross-functional partners.

Role Responsibilities


  • Model complex business problems, discovering business insights and identifying opportunities using statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques. Architecting and implementing these algorithms with the latest tools and technology

  • Own the lifecycle of advanced models, while preparing and integrating large, varied datasets (both structured and unstructured), architecting specialized database and computing environments, and extracting actionable business insights to be presented back to stakeholders

  • Lead and coach a team of experienced data scientists, who are responsible for evolving and implementing our Marketing Intelligence strategy through the use of complex and advanced modeling while working with cross functional partners to ensure translation of results back to the business stakeholders.

  • Leverage data science and modeling expertise to create and own an omni-channel Targeting and Segmentation Strategy which will inform and shape our audience strategy and operational execution

  • Owns the overall predictive modeling strategy to inform marketers of advanced insights, drivers, engagement journeys, and program efficiencies

  • Maintain a strong partnership with stakeholders within Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional organizations to understand the challenges they face and provide intelligence based first on data. Works closely with Marketing Data team to ensure data quality and availability leveraged within analytics and modeling

  • Work with our Strategy Enablement team, Marketing Data team, and cross-geo BI teams to evaluate, select, and implement vendors to support our 1st, 2nd, and 3rdparty data strategy. Consistent evaluation of 3rdparty intent data providers to ensure we are leveraging high quality data within our models

  • Partners with Marketing Enablement team to ensure effective change management andcommunications for our global set of metrics, reporting within marketing is delivered

  • Works closely with our COO of Marketing and leaders of our Digital & Demand teams to provide advanced insights to ensure unified views of our current performance, areas of opportunity and focus, and recommended paths forward

  • Direct a team who will evolve our predictive lead scoring model to improved sales effectiveness by delivering only high-quality leads for those contacts who have shown a high propensity for conversion and are ready for a sales conversation

  • 5-7 years leading a Predictive analytics team with strong proven results in solving relatively complex problems; 3-5 years of machine learning experience and or natural processing language

  • Strong ability to translate complex modeling and results into actionable business outcomes to be presented back to stakeholders and leadership (Advanced Insights presented at an Executive Leadership level)

  • Proven experience in communicating effectively between business teams and more technical teams (e.g: Data Science Team, IT)

  • Advanced Experience in understanding and analyzing data using statistical software (e.g., Python, SAS, R, or others). Demonstrated comfort with advanced analytics and data visualization tools such as Pandas, R, Spark, and Tableau

  • Masters in a quantitative subject preferred (statistics, mathematics, engineering (or) computer science)

  • Knowledge and experience in creating and executing on an omni-channel targeting and segmentation strategy

  • Experience developing, building and scaling machine learning models in business applications using large amounts of structured and unstructured data.

  • Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and interaction skills, including ability to effectively communicate architectural issues and concepts to multiple organization levels and executive management.
