JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Investor Relations Analyst will play a key role on Newmark's Investor Relations (IR) team. This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The IR Analyst will be an integral part of the Investor Relations and overall Finance team and will work closely with key functions across the company as well as members of Newmark's leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :


  • Collaborate on executing the internal investor relations function
  • Support all communications with the investment community regarding the Company's business model, operating results and business strategy
  • Compare internal forecasts with analyst models-tracking analyst estimate changes and ensuring accuracy
  • Assist investors and analysts with modeling the company's historical financial statements
  • Review and summarize analyst reports, competitive financial analysis and aggregate information from various financial data sources
  • Advise on and support all aspects of investor marketing, including core processes to build and maintain our investor database and CRM
  • Support all aspects of quarterly earnings-including preparation of quarterly financial press releases, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, investor presentations and other associated materials; assist in drafting annual and quarterly SEC filings
  • Support the Company's participation in investor and analyst events such as conferences, meetings, non-deal roadshows
  • Compile disclosures and data for use by senior management in meetings and discussions with sell-side analysts and shareholders
  • Work closely with senior staff on internal and external financial planning, forecasting and reporting

SKILLS , EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :


  • 1-2 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, Corporate Development, FP&A, or other Wall Street position
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, interpret information and financial concepts and apply them to business analysis
  • Advanced communications skills and relationship skills
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software; familiarity with IR focused software/tools a plus
  • Keen intellect, integrity, a sense of urgency and the ability to simultaneously execute on both tactical and strategic projects with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Familiarity with GAAP and non-GAAP accounting practices
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting
