As an important member of our Cloud Product team, a Senior Cloud Engineer will be at the forefront of designing, building and supporting next-generation cloud platform components and solutions. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners, a Senior Cloud Engineer will help drive agile cloud development capabilities, develop leading-edge cloud-powered products, and deploy automated, scalable, and secure solutions that support CDPHP's strategic business goals.

A Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for enabling new cloud-based services and capabilities in alignment with the strategy and architecture roadmap, including application integration, automation, templates, identity and access controls, security best practices, and supporting serverless and container based solutions The Senior Cloud Engineer will work with the Cloud Product team to help refine specifications, and design and develop solutions that meet those specifications. A Senior Cloud Engineer provides user support and expertise developing new products/services/processes, identifying and recommending areas of improvements to those areas, and justifying changes as needed. Appropriate use of both proven and leading edge technologies and services is to be expected, with opportunities to work with serverless frameworks, orchestration, ML powered services, and rapid development methodologies.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree required. Degrees in Computer Science, Systems or Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems preferred. Seven (7) years relevant experience may be substituted for degree

  • At least seven (7) years of relevant experience

  • Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, secure and highly-available AWS solutions

  • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and Serverless orchestration

  • Experience with AWS Serverless services, including Lambda, StepFunctions, DynamoDB, and API Gateway

  • Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, secure and highly-available AWS solutions

  • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and Serverless orchestration

  • Experience with AWS Serverless services, including Lambda, StepFunctions, DynamoDB, and API Gateway

  • Hands-on experience with microservices and container orchestration, such as AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate, containers, and Kubernetes.

  • Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, AWS CLI, Linux, and Python is required

  • Experience with identifying and supporting IAM roles, policies, and overall security and identity and access control best practices in a regulated environment

  • Experience with infrastructure configuration management and automation

  • Proficiency with scripting and development tools, such as GitHub, BitBucket, Jenkins, CodePipeline, or CodeBuild

  • Experience with the installation, configuration, management and operations within an enterprise environment is required

  • Knowledge of AWS data services, including S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora, RDS, Kinesis is preferred

  • Knowledge of analytics and ML tools, including SageMaker, Comprehend, EMR, and Glue is a plus

  • Familiarity with Agile, MVP and DevOps methodologies and the full software delivery lifecycle

  • Strong written and verbal communications, and ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed environment

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, identify, implement and monitor outcomes required

  • Demonstrated experience in technical solution design and implementation

  • Good organization and time management skills are essential


  • Must possess strong leadership analytical skills

  • Strong influencing skills is preferred

  • Healthcare industry knowledge preferred
