Continuously seek out and disseminate information uncovered through market research on industry-wide shifts towards the virtualization of software-related functions such as storage.
Evangelize initiatives of self-service rather than traditional legacy storage and vendor reliant approaches
Transform how work is performed through the use of creative and efficient messaging around product offerings.
Lead education sessions, stand ups, product reviews and other product activities such as planning
Bring together virtual teams of people around business value, aligned to the product portfolio
Complement institutional knowledge with technology and industry trends/best practices to develop governance frameworks, guiding principles, and detailed designs of organizational constructs
Provide directional insights and inputs into Culture, People Agenda, Training and Development, Internal branding, Communications, and various Transformation / Change management efforts
Plan, mobilize, influence, and drive change in a complex, highly-matrixed environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in complex organizations contributing to and/or leading technical product marketing efforts.
Demonstrated success in a Product Management construct.
Depth of experience in researching, educating and communicating market/competitive intelligence to effectively position and message product offerings.
Demonstrated experience understanding, influencing and motivating clients and employees to embed product offerings into their everyday lives
Subject matter expertise in cloud technologies specific to software defined storage to include storage area network (SAN), or implemented as network-attached storage (NAS), or using object-based storage.
Demonstrated experience working with innovation methodologies such as customer led design
Ability to build an innovative culture
Strategic planning (e.g., roadmap creation and execution)
Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals
Experience conducting user journey mapping and building / leveraging customer personas
Expertise in Customer satisfaction survey methods, tools, and best practices
Ability to work cooperatively with Product teams in order to discern and refine feature attributes in order to highlight benefits or socialize and communicate with internal or external customers
