NG Corporate, LLC has an immediate opening for a Finance Project Manager at our Charlotte, NC Headquarters location.  This position will report to the Controller.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  (not all inclusive):

The Finance Project Manager will partner with the following areas of accounting/finance function as follows:

Financial Planning and Analysis

This position will oversee projects related to revenue and expenses, procurement spend, cash flow and long-term capital investment.  Must have proven ability to work independently. Experience should include conducting financial due diligence and application of accounting procedures while also gathering and analyzing data from many sources concurrently. Projects in this area will include preparing cost-benefit analyses for projects across departments while identifying areas where cash flow and revenue can be improved. The position will also refine reporting from Essbase.

Operations Accounting

The position will partner with Operations Accounting to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness at the plants. Expected projects may include cost alternative analysis for strategic initiatives, exploring process automation opportunities, and documentation of current policies/procedures.

Accounting and Financial Reporting

This position will partner with accounting in the development and implementation of new pronouncements, such as lease accounting, and the financial statement preparation process. This individual will also be responsible for identifying ways to simplify the financial reporting process and tracking regulatory developments/new pronouncements that may impact the Company.

Internal Controls

This position will work closely with our Internal Controls Manager to ensure that our preventative and detective controls are documented. Detailed process documentation for each business cycle is another example project to be performed by this position. Testing of selected key controls will also become a goal for this individual.

Communication and Presentation

The finance project manager will be tasked with the completion of existing reporting to Company leadership and stakeholders. Additionally, this position will be tasked with developing ways to enhance reporting, including ways to use automation and new visualization tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting or related area, Masters in tax or accounting preferred

  • CPA, with 3-5 years of experience required; public accounting experience preferred

  • Data auditing and data mining preferred
