The GTA Cloud Portfolio Intake Manager is accountable for communicating with all contributors to the strategic cloud initiatives, both within the CTO organization and in other Lines of Businesses. The role ensures the successful delivery of the portfolio priorities in conjunction with the product managers and product owners, ensuring all dependencies and risks are identified and managed. This role is suitable for someone who wants to gain experience in portfolio management and delivery; mentoring and support will be offered to enhance your career in this direction.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle processes
• Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Responsibilities

• Engage with all contributors to the strategic initiatives portfolio to develop a prioritized and agreed implementation plan.
• Engage with the development teams and product owners contributing to the delivery of the portfolio and ensuring a successful implementation.
• Manage the product deliverables, ensuring:
  
  
  • Milestones are achievable and agreed across all contributors
  • Risks and issues are identified and managed with mitigation plans in place - escalating where necessary
  • The Jira Portfolio view of the initiative is maintained and accurate
  
  
• Deliver regular management reports on the progress of the initiative and important risks/issues.
• Manage the user experience focus groups, providing summary output to the product manager
• Identify and track GT Vision metrics to measure the success of the initiative.
