Job Description:

As a Warehouse Stock Attendant, you’ll perform activities related to processing,

receiving, recording, storing, and/or shipping raw materials/finished goods. You will operate mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse/manufacturing facilities. You will have to utilize computer software to identify materials/goods, ensure accuracy of purchase orders, and maintain inventory.

What you’ll do:

• Administer and operate the organizations' warehouses, including processing, storage  and delivery of supplies and materials

• Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audit goods

 received into warehouse

• Oversee receipt, storage, and movement of materials for production and related  reporting in accordance with established procedures

• Operate appropriate mobile equipment for the movement of materials

• Coordinate receiving and movement of materials to control the flow of goods and  regulate warehouse space

• Ensure the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and

 maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment

• May prepare loose items/materials for shipping according to customer specifications

• Operate appropriate size forklift

• Will perform daily receiving of inventory/supply items into accounting system

• Proper verification of parts/services received are essential

• This person is responsible for the overall bolt house, keeping proper records of

 incoming and outgoing parts assigned to jobs

• Responsibility to issue parts needed for each job, and notifying purchasing when  stock is at/below/approaching re-order points

 

• Perform inventory cycle counts weekly, and full physical inventory at least once  per year

 

• This position is also responsible to be the backup for plate receiving
