Position Overview

As the Supply Planner, you will be responsible for delivering on customer fulfillment targets by planning and executing replenishment activities across our network. Responsibilities also include set up and maintenance of material master records.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities


  • Schedule replenishment activities to achieve Fill Rate and Inventory Weeks on Hand KPIs

  • Review MRP signals and exception messages to ensure replenishment activities are executed timely

  • Assist in analyzing inventory levels, maintain proper safety stock parameters, execute appropriate actions needed, and communicate as warranted

  • Work with business leaders by assisting in the scheduling and expediting of inbound receipts to support production, distribution and fulfillment needs.

  • Collaborate with business units and monitor daily receipts and transfers to ensure timely posting and availability of materials and products to support supply needs; review system data for accuracy and maintenance; update as required

  • Collaborate with receiving locations, transportation, manufacturing, procurement to coordinate resolutions for at risk or out of stock materials and products; recommend solutions; execute as warranted, reallocate existing inventory based on customer priority, location needs or as directed

  • Assist with identifying root causes on supply shortages and provide corrective actions. Proactively reviews at risk items and assist with communicating actions needed, provide recommended substitutions and timelines

  • Assist with facilitating product transitions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Identify and manage potential inventory obsolescence to minimize write-offs to include LTO phase in and out activity

  • Identify and maintain standard operating procedures and processes to support consistency and structure surrounding replenishment of supply needs

  • Perform regular system data maintenance for products, materials and vendors

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accuracy of material master data

  • Participates in continuous improvement projects

  • May be requested to perform different or additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred in operations, finance, logistics or supply chain management, with 2+ years of experience in sales & operations planning and previous experience and/or training in inventory or production planning

  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impact

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Proficient knowledge of Production and Inventory Planning modules of SAP or similar ERP system is required

  • CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management) or similar forecasting certification Highly desired or demonstrated evidence of continuous learning in inventory management, procurement, supply chain and or demand planning

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret system specification documents

  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical operations or formulations

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and recommend solutions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
