What You’ll Do

 

Our Technical Architecture team within USIS has a need for an entry level software engineer to assist in building PoC solutions and EFX InnerSource projects and code base. As a collaborative member of the team, you will:


  • Develop strategic design and requirements on small cloud-native systems or modules of large systems (large scale) environment and technical documentation.


  • Learns the basic principles of software engineering and can follow instructions.


  • Can work on builds, testing, and bugs of the existing products, or act as a developer on at least one new project.


  • Can provide meaningful feedback on the release process, code review, and design review.
    Quick learner of new languages and technologies and be able to apply new learnings into practical applications.


  • Displays a cooperative attitude and shares knowledge.


 

  

Qualifications


  • BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience 


  • 6+ months’ experience as part of degree program or internship using Java or other programming language

  • Data structures and algorithms fundamentals knowledge
