About This Role:

The Research Associate works directly with a team of analysts who research, write, and publish reports to help make leaders succeed. Forrester's services target roles such as CIOs, CMOs, enterprise architecture professionals, customer experience professionals, application development and delivery professionals, and customer insights professionals.

Responsibilities


  • Manage research projects, work with assigned analysts, formulate a project plan, establish a check-in process, coordinate research, and manage a schedule.

  • Support analyst client engagement.

  • Assist analysts with primary and secondary research for published reports, including telephone interviews, online surveys, and internal and third-party data.

  • Conduct deep data analysis to identify trends in the sales profession.

  • Support analyst presentations with well-formatted charts, appropriate callouts, meaningful titles, and slide sequences that tell a story.

  • Maintain the report production schedule, from inception through publication.

  • Learn and conduct quantitative work with Forrester's data sets.

  • Utilize social media platforms (e.g., blogs, Twitter, and online community) in coordinating research and publishing.

Qualifications


  • A BA or BS degree; interest in statistics or quantitative work is a major plus.

  • One to two years of varied undergraduate or postgraduate work experience.

  • A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.

  • A sharp attention to detail and resourcefulness, optimizing survey questions and formatted data outputs.

  • A passion for learning about technology.
