Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects (business and technology) of large transformation initiatives, throughout the project lifecycle utilizing Agile and waterfall methodologies. The successful candidate must be comfortable leading highly visible, large, complex initiatives, must contribute to the growth and evolution of the PMO practice, and must have sufficient expertise in business and technical project management, Agile concepts, as well as process reengineering, business transformation and analytics. He/She must be a strategic thinker, proactive player, trusted advisor, and self-directed professional who inspires others to do the right thing and be their best selves. Reporting Relationships As our Project Manager II, you will report to our Director, Data Reporting & Analytics who reports to our Vice President Data Reporting & Analytics. You have
BS or BA required
3 years related project and program leadership experience
Experience with Agile
Experience managing virtual and global distributed teams
Demonstrated hands on leadership of large-scale process development/improvement initiatives
Experience with and understanding of concepts of Organizational Change Management
Experience with Data & Analytic Technologies including Big Data, Data Lake, etc.
Demonstrates sense of urgency and a bias for action
Strong ability for proactive problem analysis and solution, conflict resolution
Ability to excel and lead a team in ambiguous situations
Ability to lead/ facilitate a team in collaborative decision-making
Ability to interact and effectively communicate with Executives and maintain credibility
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, strong organization skills and a desire to learn
Ability to train, coach, mentor project leaders and team members
Ability to help on Resource Management to project sponsors/owners
An expert understanding of project management terminology, concepts, processes& tools, with an ability to creatively apply them to projects
