Department: Patient Accounts
Schedule: Full Time, Day, 8am - 4pm
Follows established protocols to assure that patient payments and adjustments are applied in a prompt and accurate manner. Act as a liaison between patients, Patient Accounts Department and insurance companies. Processes a large volume of transactions in a timely and accurate manner including selection of correct account; analysis of RA's, EOB's and other payment records to correctly apply contractual write-off claim notes; and focuses on accuracy of data. Acts as a technical resource/mentor for other Payment Application Specialists and assists with training of new staff.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of Patient Accounts experience required.
