Responsible for analyzing business problems to be solved with automated solutions, processes and procedures.
Location for position: New Bern, NC or Chatsworth, CA
Gathers and analyzes data in support of business cases, proposed projects and systems requirements.
Modifies existing and/or creates new ERP functionality based on requirements received from business functional leadership.
Plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing, and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
Creates and modifies ERP system application queries, dashboards, and SSRS Reports.
Maintains knowledge of current Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence (Tableau) and Reporting tools (SSRS).
Understands statistics and statistical analysis.
Takes ownership of designing and building end-to-end BI solutions using SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS and Tableau.
Development experience in at least one scripting language (R or Python preferred)
Works closely with other IT functional teams to troubleshoot system issues.
Assists business functional data stewards with process documentation, and work with teammates for daily production support of installed software.
Applies proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred and 2-3 years of work experience in the field.
Proven experience in C#, and OOP
Proven experience in Databases and Data Relationships particularly Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL and SSIS
Experience working in manufacturing environments is a plus. (ERP).
Development experience in at least one scripting language (R or Python preferred)
