The College of Professional and Continuing Studies is pleased to announce our search for the Primary Application Administrator with Registration and Records.

The administrator duties include:


  • Maintaining registration software and applications

  • Creating and maintaining registration websites

  • Preparation for conferences, including creating and printing reports, name badges, and setting up laptops for onsite name badge printing

  • Creating and maintaining customized reports for departments

  • Onsite and back office customer registrations

  • Communicating with the Director and Assistant Director regarding project status and escalating any concerns

  • Providing technical support to end users

Required Education: GED/High School Grad or equivalent combination of education/job related experience,  AND:


  • 12-24 months office supervision/management, with website administration

Skills:


  • Proficient navigating and maintaining databases

  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets

  • Cash handling

  • Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English

  • Basic math skills

  • Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions

  • Basic computer skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information

  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines

  • Able to communicate well and build rapport quickly with customers and staff.

  • Able to produce reports and complete work within deadlines

  • Strong initiative to solve problems

  • General office skills such as multi-line phone, copying, filing, faxing, and mail

  • Proficient in HTML

  • Customer service

Certifications:


  • Introduction to SQL

Advertised Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to engage in repetitive motion and communicate effectively.

Departmental Preferences:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 24-36 months demonstrable experience with website administration and SQL proficiency

  • Previous experience working in higher education or conference registrations
