Assignment may include any or all: Inspect all incoming materials shipments, all internally manufactured components such as extruded or molded parts, all in process assemblies, all packaging operations, sterilized and non-sterile finished products. Properly fill out all documents and file same properly. Maintain compliance to QSR/ISO/MDD regulations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities


  • Inspect and test raw materials, components, subassemblies, finished products(diameters, tensile, visual, etc) per written procedures.

  • Maintain files of collected data to demonstrate QSR/ISQ/MDD compliance.

  • Know and understand ZPO’s related to job assignments Maintain work areas in clean and orderly manners.

  • Participate in continuing education program as required.

  • Ensure that ZPO’s related to job assignment are current and up to date.

  • Support department and company goals. (as required)

  • Represent and promote quality standards in all contacts. (as required)

Expected Areas of Competence


  • Must be able to detect occasional defect in a repetitive operation.

  • Ability to analyze noncomformances.

  • Ability to make product judgments against specifications and performance standards.

  • Ability to judge raw material against specifications.

  • Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tensile testing equipment.

  • Must have good documentation skills to maintain neat and accurate records.

Education/Experience Requirements


  • At least two years of post high school training in sciences or related fields or equivalent.

  • Work experience in related field of manufacturing or quality control training desirable.

Travel Requirements


  • 5%
