Summary of Position: Strategic Intent

This role functions as part of the Strategy and Capability team.  The incumbent has contact and works collaboratively with business unit leaders, functional managers, and global innovation teams to facilitate and execute key strategic business processes with a continuous improvement mindset.  This role will maintain and communicate the innovation portfolio and project status database (ION) and drive innovation planning, analysis, and reporting. 

Organization: People Responsibilities / reporting relationships

Incumbent reports to the Family Care Director of Strategies and Capabilities.  This role supports strategy deployment process and facilitate/drive IMF, SBP, S&OP, AOP, and many other processes within Family Care.  This position works closely with a broad base of internal stakeholders that will include Engineering, Research and Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Marketing, and cross-functional Business Unit teams. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Maximize the returns of the BU investments through coordination, facilitation, and continuous improvement of business decision making processes.


  • Work with FC leadership to guide the SBP development and Check & Adjust processes to create and implement the Family Care strategic plans needed to meet long-term business commitments.


  • Facilitate monthly IMF reviews to gain alignment and focus the organization on the right opportunities to meet the business goals.


  • Act as process owner for monthly S&OP Product Reviews and ensure brand meetings provide complete yet concise reviews for brand teams while meeting Global S&OP standards.


  • Own and administrate the ION innovation reporting database for Family Care to achieve data integrity and compliance with global innovation reporting standards.


  • Maintain close contacts with KCNA Personal Care counterparts to share best practices, maintain standards across KCNA, and provide an aligned approach to process problem solving and development opportunities.


  • Identify and lead strategic business level initiatives that continues to challenge the team towards full potential thinking.


Qualifications:


  • High level of analytical ability/experience driving insights and influencing skills.


  • Strong presentation, project management, process improvement, and communication skills/experience.


  • Ability to work both independently and within a team structure with a high degree of autonomy.


  • Executive presence and facilitation skills.  Ability to interface, communicate with, and influence multiple functions and leadership levels.


  • LEAN/Continuous Improvement experience.


Education required/preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related fields such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6-8+ years of experience in a consumer or strategy focused role or another equivalent combination of education and experience.
