To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable leader to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor. Our Maintenance team members tackle every job with talent, precision and safety. This position is responsible for directing all S tores activities, providing proper training to all personnel and maintaining all training documentation. The successful candidate is certified in dangerous goods/HAZMAT shipping and have previous experience with shipping and receiving and aircraft parts inventory software. This position reports to the Manager of Aircraft Parts.



Principal Duties and Responsibilities:






  • Direct all S tores activ ities performed at assigned area to ensure efficient utilization of assigned personnel, quality and quantity of production and cleanliness of facilities




  • Provide proper training for all personnel to ensure they are qualified to perform assigned functions




  • Maintain training documentation




  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations






  • Perform on - the - job training for new employees




  • Manage inventory and shipping control procedures







Minimum Qualifications




  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite




  • Previous experience with shipping and receiving




  • Certified in dangerous goods/HAZMAT shipping




  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and delegate to team members




  • Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations in relation to Aircraft Maintenance




  • Experience with aircraft parts inventory software







Preferred Qualifications:




  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field





Work Environment:




  • Standard office equipment, use of computers and other office equipment




  • Airport ramp and warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels




  • Available to work any shift including nights, weekends and holidays




  • Exempt







Physical Requirements:




  • Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs




  • Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally with assistance from co-workers or tools
