Business Development Representative, Google

Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do


  • Develop strategic marketing/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments


  • Create and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying and closing new business opportunities


  • Involvement at the executive level with discussions that affect their bottom line; help them set their business goals


  • Maintain strong vendor relationships


  • Act as a lead go-to person for supporting Sales Representatives


  • Identify volume and strategic customers and develop those partnerships


  • Analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities and develop strategic direction from market information


  • Create reports and make group presentations at customer sites


  • Proactively develop new ways of uncovering new business


  • Act as a solid solution seller, incorporating the vendor's full product line


  • Negotiate for a profitable P&L


  • Regularly meet or exceed goals


Your passion is sparked by:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university plus two to five years of related experience and/or equivalent education and experience


  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales processes, procedures and terminology


  • Demonstrated background building productive internal and external working relationships at a senior level and proven experience working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors


  • Solid organizational and planning skills with proven attention to detail a must


  • Excellent verbal and written communications required
