This position is responsible for ensuring that all operations of Henry Schein Dental centers, identified within the area of responsibility, are running effectively (in partnership with the Regional Manager). This position has a focus on corporate policy and procedure compliance for all center personnel, inventory control/reporting, P&L maintenance and customer satisfaction. This role supports and oversees all phases of field operations within the specific region through strong leadership, information sharing, team building, and training & development of new team members.
Maintain full responsibility for coordination of equipment service process, ensuring all center TSM's are working together as a team to provide maximum customer satisfaction (as measured via customer service surveys and VOC initiative).
Work directly with EST's, Equipment Coordinators, Sales Operations Coordinators and Service Hub for each location assuring open communication and timely submission of paperwork (ie: EST work orders, etc). Follow-up with center dispatch and HUB manager on any EST concerns.
Review and reconcile center open payable report while resolving and following up with the Service Hub on discrepancies.
Assure corporate policy and procedure compliance for all center personnel. This includes assessing the knowledge base of the team, requesting training on policies and procedures, running monthly ROM reports to verify compliance, and performing monthly testing in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.
Manage and resolve regional TSM issues and concerns in a professional and diplomatic manner, requesting the assistance of Human Resources when necessary. Regularly coach and counsel TSMs towards attaining performance and career goals.
Work with the Inventory and Regulatory Control Team to verify that all team members are properly trained in and are adhering to inventory control procedures including organization of warehouse, warehouse maintenance, safety procedure compliance, using and billing of equipment and customer and vendor returns.
Responsible for P&L, shared with Regional Manager, including expense control in accordance with Henry Schein, Inc. accounting practices and goals.
Recruiting, selection, and training of EST's; including locating candidates whose qualifications match with the constantly changing technical environment while using all company assets available to select high caliber TSMs.
Evaluate, test, and train new and existing EST's to reach center and corporate goals. Conduct annual performance reviews assuring quality communication of TSM's performance, while maintaining open communication with corporate Human Resources department.
Maintain facility to provide strategic local centers for our customers and TSM's to increase business efficiency and effectiveness through consistent image/branding, equipment showcasing and staging, and a productive work environment.
Develop and maintain communication on customer payment system with FSC's, ESS's, and Equipment Coordinators making certain that all payment criteria are in place prior to ordering or installation of equipment and/or technology.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
