The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), minimum of three months related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must possess the ability to read analyze, and interpret documents such as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions as well as procedure manuals. Must have basic mathematical skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or other forms.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

  • Measure distances from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretches tight line.

  • Ability to set concrete forms, tie rebar and place concrete.

  • Levels freshly poured concrete.

  • Positions, joins, aligns and seals pipe sections.

  • Erects scaffolding, shoring and braces.

  • Operates miscellaneous tools/equipment such as walk behind compactors, water pump, chipping hammer, drill, vacuum, and sprayer

  • Shovels and levels dirt or stone

  • Transports materials, tools and supplies.

  • Preforms work in accordance with industry and company standards.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The team member is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is generally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required.
