Equipment Specialist Position needed for a full-time, staff opportunity with American Ordnance located in Middletown, IA

The Work You'll Be Doing:

  • Completes all receiving reports and ensures accuracy of all equipment records plant wide.

  • Evaluates / Tracks & reports all GSA activities to include annual replacement duties.

  • Gathers data and compiles all required reporting actions for equipment

  • Keeps storage warehouses clean, organized and completes an annual inventory of each building

  • Reviews all excess equipmentfor retention / excessing.

  • Coordinates furniture moves plant-wide

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

  • High School diploma or GED require

  • 2 years related experience

  • Great attitude and team player.

  • Successful completion of background screening process.

The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:

  • Must posess a thorough knowledge of large vehicles / tractors for GSA management

  • Ability to speak effectively to external customers or employees of the company

  • Must be able to handle multiple dutiessimultaneously

  • Can work independentlybut also in team environment

  • Ability to write reports and correspondence, Read and interpret documents such as Procedures, manuals and drawings

Must be able to perform the following physical and mental tasks:

  • Visual acuity (e.g., needed to prepare and analyze data, to transcribe documents, to view a computer, to read, to inspect objects, to operate machinery.

  • Repetitive motion of any part of the body.

  • Capacity to think, concentrate and focus for long periods of time.

  • Capacity to reason and make sound decisions.
