Located in our downtown Denver office, The Oracle HR and Payroll Functional and Technical System Architect will lead and develop technical requirements and technical design documentation to support business requirements for Oracle implementation plans. Lead the development/support of technical solutions (i.e., reports, workflow, interfaces) to meet the prioritized business needs (production support tickets, enhancements, and projects) utilizing the Gates PMO methodology. Troubleshoot application related issues and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on high severity failures. Lead and conduct unit testing of IT solutions and assist the Business with integration, regression, and acceptance testing. Document application architecture components.
Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Functional and Technical Support of Oracle Applications

  • Development, Enhancement, Customization, Production Support of Oracle HCM (single and multi-Business Groups), Core HRMS, Payroll, Oracle Self Service, OTL/timekeeping system, and System Administration of Oracle Applications

  • Run and support payroll processing, generating checks, EFT payments and quick pays along with transitioning Gates sites onto Oracle payroll

  • Develop, modify, and test OAF Pages, Forms, XML Publisher Reports, Interfaces, conversions, fast formulas, workflows, and inbound/outbound integrations









ABOUT YOU

  • Minimum of 5 years Oracle Applications Technical and Functional experience in HR, Payroll and OTL

  • Minimum of 5 years in the following programming languages; SQL, JAVA, XML and Utilities Tools; Oracle JDeveloper, SQL Developer, XML Publisher, Report Builder, Workflow Builder

  • Preferred Experience: Background with R12 upgrades, Payroll deployments and ability to follow the project phases; Define, Access, Develop, Validate, Launch and Monitor

  • Prioritization and organizational skills to execute and manage many tasks concurrently

  • Meeting facilitation skills

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

  • Ability to meet both short term and long-term deadlines

  • Self-motivated, confident, and detail-oriented

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
