Exciting work you will do:


  • Assist PR and Employee Communications team members with day-to-day communications tasks and coordinate communications projects and activities as directed

  • Maintain accurate media and analyst contact database

  • Write content for weekly internal firm newsletter, intranet posts on firm-wide news, internal platform posts, and other firm-wide communications as assigned

  • Manage select HR communications such as Service Awards, Benefit enrollment reminders, performance review reminders etc., and develop strong rapport with HR team.

  • Coordinate with I&D leader on communications support needs of Employee Resource Groups, including facilitating call setup on Zoom and/or Teams, and invitation handling

  • Support the execution of internal communications strategies tied to larger firm efforts such as firm-wide meetings, marketing campaigns and other initiatives

  • Write and edit communications copy, including press releases, newsroom articles, videos and emails as assigned

  • Support digital marketing manager in maintaining and updating the Newsroom on the website

    • Help manage North Highland's social media presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and additional channels that may be deemed relevant

    • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread brand message and thought leadership content

    • Run social promotions and campaigns and track their success

    • Create shareable content for North Highland employees to promote on their social channels



What you will need:


  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field from an accredited college or university

  • 3-5 years public relations, media relations or internal communications experience, ideally in a professional services space or agency background

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail

  • Solid problem-solving experience and ability to resolve issues throughout the project life cycle

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (such as HubSpot)

  • Fluency in MS Office

  • Experience managing social media strategy and campaigns, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practice, preferred

  • Video editing/Adobe Creative Suite skills a plus
