In order to further build up our talent landscape, we are looking for a new Talent Development Specialist to join our Global Talent Team in our Maastricht or Cologne office. In this role, you will play an essential part in the design, implementation and delivery of talent initiatives with a global reach. You will be part of a dedicated and creative team that is hands-on, proactive and focusses on creating added value for our business.

As Talent Development Specialist, you will:

advise on and develop, implement and execute global HR policies, procedures, processes, tools and programs for Talent Management, Learning & Development and Recruitmentand guide managers, employees and HR on improving business performance in line with overall HR strategy, agreed budget, corporate guidelines, laws and regulations, in order to achieve overall HR and business objectives.

Responsibilities

Analysis

Collect, interpret, edit information and issue recommendations regarding challenges and developments in Talent Management to provide recommendations about opportunities and risks and possible actions.

Policies, Procedures, Tools & Systems

Contribute to or develop strategy, policies, procedures, tools and/or systems for Talent Management in line with the overall HR strategy and business needs, to ensure clear direction, guidance and support to the execution of the HR objectives, priorities and activities.

Advice

Provide advice at own initiative or at request to relevant internal stakeholders, in line with internal needs and interests, to enable internal stakeholders to make decisions.

Implementation

Oversee the implementation and execution of integrated solutions (e.g. trainings), to ensure that solutions are incorporated in the daily practice.

Projects

Define, manage, and/or participate in projects, within agreed parameters, to ensure realization of project objectives.

Management Information

Provide regular insights regarding developments to (senior) management and other stakeholders, both quantitative and qualitative, by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on (internal) reporting guidelines, to enable management and/or other stakeholders to make timely decisions and to determine or adjust strategy and plans.

Optimization

Monitor, measure, benchmark and evaluate HR processes, tools and systems and initiate and implement changes and improvements, to ensure continuous optimization and alignment of HR (work) processes, tools and systems.

Knowledge Development

Keep up with internal and external HR developments and ensure development, transfer and retention of new and state of the art knowledge in the own area of expertise, to ensure that knowledge and insight into developments in the own area of expertise is up-to-date and ensured on long term.

Experience

Education

Bachelor/Master degree

General Experience

3 to5 years of experience in an international environment with specialized knowledge of Talent Management and a good understanding of other HR areas.
