Commercial Loan Administrator 1 Job Summary

The Commercial Loan Administrator 1 is an entry level role into the Commercial Loan Operations area. Working under direct supervision, the Commercial Loan Administrator 1 performs a variety of duties related to commercial loan documentation/servicing, customer relationship management, loan operation systems, and management reporting. This includes assisting with the following: gathering of necessary due diligence information, preparing various checklists for documentation from customers, preparing general loan documents and amendments, processing closed note packages and coordinating loan closings with the loan officers. The Commercial Loan Administrator 1 focuses on understanding and adhering to the bank policies and procedures and learning documentation requirements.

Essential Functions (primary functions and/or reasons the job exists in order of importance)

1.Works under direct supervision, learns and assists with preparing and administering commercial loan documentation.

*Assists with preparing loan documents and disbursing funds for commercial loans of minimal complexity. Typically works on amendments, line of credit renewals, term loan reviews and covenant waivers.

*Prepares completed loan packages for submission to Records Retention.

*Assists with the administering of the loan documentation process which includes ordering title work, performing property and UCC searches, obtaining insurance and payoff amounts, filing mortgages and UCC's and notifying accounting of funding requirements.

*Understands existing commercial loan policies and procedures.

*Ability to process payments and ability to notify management of any payment issues.

*Tracks loan payoffs and releases collateral within established guidelines.

*Reviews peer documentation and COCC input to identify any potential errors and notifies management of any major issues.

2.Utilizes all applicable software/systems (e.g. nCino, COCC, and LaserPro).

*Sets up and maintains loans in COCC.

*Prepares and reviews loan documents in LaserPro.

*Routes loans and track exceptions in nCino.

*Stays current through training and awareness of regulation changes and system updates.

3.Assists with reporting for various areas.

*Tracks documentation exceptions.

*Monitors document request reports, digital archive reports, and month end reports to identify any potential errors and actively works the lists to collect exceptions.

*Serves as liaison between lender and borrower to resolve exceptions in a timely manner.

4.Acquires a basic understanding of the underwriting process to include proper loan approvals, policy exceptions, and conditions to close.

5.Provides customer service, both internally and externally, to include customer phone calls, research and monitoring loans email inbox.

6.Maintains awareness, understanding, and compliance with the Bank's internal policies and procedures, laws, and regulations appropriate for this position.

7.Provides assistance in response to regulatory and internal/external audit requests.

8.Travels occasionally in order to participate in special assignments, training, and/or travel between office locations.

Desired Qualifications/Experience/Certification/Education (in order of importance)

1.1+ years of relevant business experience.

2.Problem solving and analytical skills.

3.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills resulting in the ability to interact with all levels of management and employee population.

4.Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and adaptability to various situations.

5.Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word, etc.) or other transferable software packages.

6.Working knowledge of loan documentation systems similar to LaserPro.

7.Working knowledge of loan documentation principles in one or more of the following: title work, real estate, commercial, consumer.

8.High School diploma, GED, or commensurate experience.

*Ability to read a standard type document.

*Ability to physically and accurately file.

*Ability to travel as required.
