Coast Inn at Lake Hood is recruiting for the position of Accounting Clerk. This is a regular, part-time position and is located in Anchorage, AK.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for daily general accounting functions in support of the Coast Inn at Lake Hood.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn Hotel Concepts PMS and enter payments


• Balancing daily work


• Billing Accounts Receivable


• Reconciling aging to accounts


• Post A/R payments


• Collections of A/R


• Filing


• Interface with customer questions or problems


• Email/mail statements


• Other duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Graduate and 2 years office experience


• Prior A/R and collections experience


• Pre-employment drug screening


• General knowledge of accounting functions

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Telephone skills


• Computer experience - (Hotel Concepts PMS and Excel)


• 10 key


• Filing


• Recognizes need for confidentiality and security of sensitive information
