Columbus Regional Airport Authority is looking for a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) Supervisor who wants to “Land Your Next Career”! We’re searching for an experienced Supervisor to join our team and help oversee our fixed base operations, aircraft and cargo handling and fuel systems at Rickenbacker International Airport. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, be passionate about quality work, and a great mentor for our team.

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority manages and operates passenger-focused John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), cargo-focused Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and general aviation airport Bolton Field (TZR).

Your “Take Off” will be successful by doing the following with excellence:

• Supervise work of assigned staff, including assigning and reviewing work, and providing feedback and coaching, and conducting annual performance evaluations.


• Oversee ground handling service for FBO and fueling, passenger service, and cargo flights.


• Perform front line duties for cargo, passenger, customer service, and fueling during peak periods.


• Communicate and respond to customer requests.


• Oversee maintenance aspects of mobile CRAA fuel systems.


• Assist in developing the annual department operating budget.


• Perform related work as required.

Your “Landing” will be smooth if you meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field and a minimum three (3) years of Airport Operations or Fixed Base Operations, or equivalent education and years of experience


• Previous supervisory experience preferred


• Ability to obtain the following licenses after starting: Airline Ground Security Coordinator, Airline Specific Licenses, Forklift Operator License, and International Air Transportation Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Class 8, NATA Safety 1st


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)


• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality


• Understand International Air Transportation (IATA) Terminology


• Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, projects, and competing priorities simultaneously
