Summary

The Human Resources Intern works closely with the Shared Services Human Resources team to support and learn hands-on skills related to HR operations.  As the Human Resources Intern, you will gain exposure to all facets of our operation through recruitment, payroll, HRIS administration (UKG Pro), and educational opportunities.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Support the Shared Services Human Resources team with human resources and payroll related activities.


• Assist with maintaining electronic and paper HR related files.


• Learn aspects of full cycle recruitment for positions in various levels of the company.


• Create and distribute internal company announcements and external social media postings.


• Give and receive real-time performance feedback to further your growth and leadership development.


• Observe current human resources business processes as it relates to the CSS Farms business model.


• Take on other tasks and responsibilities, as needed.

Expected Hours of Work

• Typical office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.


• Daily working hours can be flexible with 25-40 hours total per week.

Required Qualifications

• Are pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.

Desired Qualifications

• Are generally tech savvy and can use basic software systems such as Excel, Word.


• Possess excellent organizational and project management skills.


• Are an excellent communicator; asking for and valuing positive and constructive feedback to grow within your role and career.

Work Authorization

• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
