Responsible for the design, development, implementation and execution of all related activities associated with executive air transportation. Provides flight, in-flight, maintenance and dispatch services in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), International Standards- Business Aviation Operations (IS-BAO) and associated Company guidelines. Consults on corporate aviation operations, safety practices, ground transportation services and global travel restrictions. Identifies emerging technology applications and recommends transportation solutions that support company business strategies and desired operational efficiencies. Works across corporate functions to recommend aircraft acquisition/disposition strategies, business continuity practices and data collection solutions that meet all internal customer requirements. Provides support and subject matter expertise for recruiting, internal hiring, vendor selection and contractor requirements in execution of business transportation strategies for the overall enterprise.

Responsibilities


  • Supports basic inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on assigned aircraft and associated aircraft appliances in accordance with established procedures (e.g., FAA regulations) and schedules as directed.

  • Contributes to launching and receiving aircraft and provides assistance with passengers and baggage.

  • Provides support to ensure compliance with all applicable Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives on assigned aircraft.

  • Provides support to ensure permanent aircraft records are maintained and current per FAR’s manufacturing requirements.

  • Performs basic troubleshooting; escalates more complex issues to the appropriate specialist.

  • Maintains ground support equipment.

Education and Experience


  • Associates degree preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience as an airframe and powerplant mechanic or technician.

  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license required, or equivalent experience in the military.

Knowledge and Skills


  • Good technical knowledge in aircraft systems (jet-type).

  • Exposure to large jet aircraft preferred.

  • Good troubleshooting skills.

Impact/Scope


  • Primarily a regional area responsibility.

  • Requires regular local supervision.
