POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Installation Advisor provides expertise/professional leadership on complex client benefit/implementation assignments and projects. This position may involve a client-facing role to capture client benefit requests.

Key attributes

Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, planning, and delivering initiatives for client benefit/implementation and projects. Assists in developing organizational-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers. Identifies areas for improvement and initiates projects or programs to increase productivity, quality, and effectiveness. Develops relationships with customers, and internal partners. Utilizes deep professional knowledge, the ability to provide good judgement and quick decisions to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within benefit operations, works on broader projects, which requires understanding larger scope of business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Primary Functions


  • Accurately analyzes, translates, validates and triages complex client requests related to product requirement additions and changes across all business units to ESI systems. This is accomplished by conducting a detailed analysis, capture requirements, manage and track timelines to meet client specific needs.

  • Attends implementation meetings to share best practices and support Account Managers and Clinical Program Managers on their recommended cost-effective solutions as they relate to requirements. Point of escalation for urgent issues for Account Management, customer care and CBA. Interface with IT triage teams to collaborate on resolution of critical issues.

  • Identifies influences and communicates need for customization to support client benefit requirements; attend validation meetings as needed; run customized and scheduled reports, management tracking and report distribution for internal/external clients as requested. Manages the communication and deployment of product requirement additions or changes to appropriate business units.

  • Adheres to all organizational SOPs, policy and procedures, training guides and Compliance standards; provide subject matter input as it relates to checklists and SOPs

  • Acts as a consultant and serve as primary contact to existing and potential clients on strategic product requirements by providing support and analysis in researching and resolution of issues. Influence and assist in development of customized requirements that suit the needs of specific strategic clients.

  • Provides leadership and mentor less experience team members with complex issues needing technical expertise and client specific plan interpretation by verifying and ensuring accuracy of requirements, as well as documenting errors as needed.

  • Supports ideation and planning by documenting existing/new processes and procedures and improving those processes by providing suggestions and recommendations based upon experience, knowledge, and expertise.

  • Manages and leads complex projects as assigned, multitasking effectively to ensure daily requirements requests are completed and turned around within required timeframe/SLA.

Key Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities

  • Knowledge of the PBM/healthcare industry preferred

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of change ideation and planning

  • Ability to manage timelines and meeting tight deadlines

  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions

  • Strong organizational, prioritizing skills and ability to multi-task

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Demonstrated ability to work with other departments/teams to resolve issues

  • Proficient PC skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
