Job Description:

Major Responsibilities



  • Lead medium to large strategic projects with cross-functional project teams including members from IT, Transportation, Merchandising, Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Finance

  • Partner with project sponsors and business leaders to manage execution of project plan throughout entire lifecycle stages of project

  • Effectively lead a project team of varying skills in a diverse environment with changing demands

  • Create, maintain, and manage to relevant project documents including business case, project charter, scope statement, project plan, communication plan, risk management plan, etc.

  • Develop and execute change management plan as required by project across all relevant business areas

  • Ensure project team and project deliverables consider the customer experience and needs of Care and Sales organization


  • Create and manage program communication and status reporting to support transparency to senior leadership

  • Effectively lead and facilitate project meetings with project team, SMEs, and sponsors, across all levels of the organization including senior leaders

  • Develop presentation materials to effectively communicate with business leaders and cross-functional work groups

  • Lead development of business requirements across project team

  • Lead user acceptance testing including test plans, use cases, scripts, execution and issue resolution

  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive issue resolution

  • Manage competing resources and priorities across project team members

  • Demonstrated successful results in managing and delivered complex IT and business projects

  • Expert in project planning and stakeholder management practices

  • Broad experience interfacing and presenting to all levels of the organization and influencing senior leadership


  • Experience with influencing project team members in a matrix environment


  • Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with all levels of senior management, management and customers


  • Working knowledge of program management principles and disciplines using leading methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)


    • Ability to work in a deadline-driven, multi-task environment with multiple stakeholders and agendas


  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills


  • Experience leading teams


  • Self-directed with minimal guidance

 



  • Expert MS Office (PowerPoint, MS Project, Word), Strong skills in MS Excel

Education and Experience



  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience managing medium to large complex business and IT projects in a large enterprise environment


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline preferred

  • PgMP or PMP Certification preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • PMP-Project Mgmt Prof
