Responsibilities
The SME Level III Publications Analyst should possess experience from the following task areas:
Make recommendations and advise on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; lifecycle management; software development methodologies; and modeling and simulation
Commensurate experience in IT and in new and related older technology that directly relates to the required area of expertise
Provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex to extremely complex systems in the subject matter area.
Provide analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in highly specialized applications and operational environment
Provide high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on moderately complex problems that require an appropriate level of knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline.
Equivalent years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
