What you will do
Under general direction, provides leadership to manage the specified vertical market sales efforts, activities, and results across Building Solutions North America. Develops and executes sales strategies, processes, tools to achieve vertical market sales objectives. Executes plans to meet BSNA’s profitability, growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction objectives.
How you will do it
Collaborate with NA Sales function to develop a vertical market strategy for the specified market.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the Specified Market and educate the NA sales organization on selling in the Specified industry.
Responsible to deliver the results of the North American Specified market business plan for all ‘lines of business’. Leads BSNA management in the development of the Specified market strategic plan component and annual sales plan.
Develop and define the value proposition using knowledge acquired through in-depth research and continuous analysis of the customer, key buying influences, the industry, market conditions, competitor strategy, product offerings, and pricing and costs.
Develop, communicate, and champion the global marketing strategy for integrated solutions sales to the Specified vertical market and identifies key and target customer segment.
Insure that all Areas are engaged in consistent processes to assess area Specified market sales performance, including the measurement of individual selling skills, and training inventory. Responsible for sales training programs and their effectiveness. Responsible for measuring and assessing the effectiveness of Specified market sales training and the development of appropriate training based on the skills of our sales force.
Define, develop, and deploy the sales process required to sell to the appropriate vertical market segment and oversees the development of appropriate systems, tools and training to ensure consistency with customer needs and business requirements.
Identify and supports new market opportunities for Specified market sales. Serve as primary link between the Area offices and Specified marketing.
Responsible to identify requirements and assign priorities to assist in the development of products, programs, tools, and support requirements. Assist in market analysis strategies and Key and Target Account identification. Facilitate communication and ‘best practices’ between Areas.
Ensure that account plans with key Specified customers are managed include the evaluation of customer satisfaction and the gathering of market data.
What we look for
Minimum of 10 years progressive technical solutions sales experience and sales leadership
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum ten years' experience selling in the Specified Technology Market with demonstrated results.
Demonstrated knowledge of Smart Buildings technology, company products, & services, sales tools and processes.
