Have a Direct Impact

The Senior UX Designer will work closely with the UX and product team to execute on the product roadmap by doing user research, interaction design, UI design, and usability testing to create high-quality experiences that meet the needs and goals of all our different users.

In this role, you will create implementation-ready designs for desktop and mobile, present and hand off the designs to the development team, and help create and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all designs.

A Day in the Life

· Strategy & Execution: Work with the product team to translate the broader strategy into an actionable, tactical plan for the product. Be an influence on the product roadmap and strategy.

· Collaboration & Leadership: Develop a strong partnership with UX team and product management counterparts. Show initiative to make things happen. Keep others informed and updated. Maintain a pipeline of design work thats queued up and ready to feed into development sprints.. Clearly communicate in writing and presentations.

· Design: Create work that meets a high bar on quality and inspires your peers to create great work. Demonstrate excellent tactical design to solve a wide range of design problems.

· Analytics: Partner with product management to develop metrics and ensure they represent customer and business needs. Evaluate the success of design work by referring to qualitative and quantitative metrics.

· Product Knowledge / User Research: Ensure that user research happens in an effective and timely manner. Become an expert on the product. Keep up on competitive products and understand what makes them succeed and fail. Spend time conversing with different segments of customers and understanding their likes and frustrations.

Youll be successful in this role if you have the following education, competencies, and skills

Education/Experience

• 5+yrs professional experience working in Product User Experience Design




• Experience with both B2B and B2C is a plus




• Experience working on a cross-functional team and being able to lead a project from inception to completion




• Bachelor degree in related field




• Strong background in desktop and responsive design

Competencies

• Communicates Effectively: You are able to communicate design and interaction requirements to developers and stake holders.




• Research: Able to conduct, document, and present findings from user centered research.




• Collaborates: Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.

Skills

• Experience with UI design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)




• Experience with prototyping and motion tools
