Administrator - Fleet Maintenance Dep - Tony's Fine Foods at Tony's Fine Foods

Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE:

Acts as a software administrator, maintains accurate records of vehicles, manages parts inventory, assists Fleet Maintenance Mechanics with troubleshooting and manages special projects.

Key Details:


  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

  • Ideal candidate has experience with: invoicing, data entry, inventory and detail oriented administrative skills. 

  • Software: Microsfot Office - Outlook and Excel. Experience with inventory systems a plus. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:


  • Order parts and tires from vendors, receive into RTA and slot them in parts room.

  • Enter external vendor repair and accident invoices into RTA.

  • Update the Daily Log of Trucks Out of Service.

  • Count, confirm and correct inventory in RTA monthly.

  • Monitor inventory levels; order as needed and process in RTA.

  • Cycle-count weekly.

  • Update vehicle mileage in RTA.

  • Schedule repairs or preventative maintenance; coordinate schedule with Transportation Department.

  • Ensure completed work orders are closed, parts used have been charged and invoices have been processed for payment.

  • Schedule used product disposal with vendors.

  • Ensure office is organized and kept clean.

  • Performs other job duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

 EXPERIENCE:


  • One year related experience and/or training

  • One year inventory management experience

  • System Implementation Preferred

KNOWLEDGE:


  • RTA Software experience preferred

  • Mechanically inclined

  • Minimum one year MS Office Suite experience

  • Understanding of safety guidelines

SKILLS/ABILITIES:


  • Demonstrated understanding of transportation procedures

  • Strong verbal and documentation skills

  • Dependable, responsible team player
