Job Description:

Position Summary: The Director of Sales is responsible for planning, developing and implementing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve financial targets, both short and long range, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and implement strategic initiatives to support company values and mission.Identify and implement technology and tools to support strategic sales initiatives.Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve/exceed corporate objectives and expand the companys customer base.Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly such as KPIs.Coach and lead Sales Team members to accomplish strategic initiatives.Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and implement sales programs.Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.Coordinate liaison between sales department and other departments.Analyzes and controls expenditures of division.Review and analyze sales performance against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.Represent the company at trade association meetings and trade shows to promote product.
Required Education and Experience:

Minimum Experience: Five years of progressive sales management experience. Marketing and brand management experience preferred.

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES:
Demonstrated experience as a Sales Director or Sales Executive in the same or closely related industry.Requires 3+ years of experience supervising sales professionals. Previous experience managing staff under a commission or other incentive program preferred.Must demonstrate strategic leadership experience and have the ability to drive sales performance for an organization.Requires customer focus and relationship building skills.Requires strong analytical skills and experience making data driven decisions.Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM required. Must be proficient with MS Office.Proven written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.Must be a strategic, analytical thinker with the ability to balance immediate needs of the company with long-term objectives.Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the values, mission, and policies of the company.

Work Schedule and Travel:

May be required to travel to/from Tyree Oil locations. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
