We are currently seeking a talented Electromechanical Technician who will be responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting associated with electronic and mechanical systems and components. This leadership position is based at Gatan’s Warrendale, PA manufacturing facility.

General responsibilities include the assembly and validation of small, precision mechanical assemblies in a low volume production environment. Troubleshooting and product testing is required as well.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as refined analytical and problem solving abilities.
Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
Solder and do rework on assemblies.
Communicate clearly with various department regarding pertinent issues.
Exhibit vigilance towards eliminating/avoiding inventory discrepancies.
Strong focus on safety compliance
Maintain an exceptionally organized and clean production environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree in an Engineering discipline preferred.
A combination of formal training and additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a formal Engineering-related degree 5 years of related technical and/or industry manufacturing experience with a strong mechanical aptitude.
