The Role

Prudential’s Group Insurance (GI) Claim organization is looking for an experienced Customer Solution Consultant (CSC). The CSC will be responsible for assisting the Claim and Distribution (sales) organizations with consultative subject matter expertise. The CSC is expected to establish and maintain positive relationships with Claims and Distribution Leadership as well as with Premier and National Account customers, brokers/consultants, and internal business partners, resulting in a positive benefit experience that will ultimately increase customer persistency, sales revenue, and customer satisfaction within GI Life & Disability. This position entails working closely with Sales VP’s, Account Executives, and Account Managers in prospecting new business, as well as supporting Customer, Broker and Finalist meetings.

Travel is required and at peak sales season may be upwards of 30% of the time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Knowledge of the overall marketplace needs and initiating actions that represent group insurance claims with integrity.

  • Understanding current industry practices and competitive intelligence.

  • Influencing marketing materials, including capabilities and finalist presentations that showcase Prudential’s differentiators in the marketplace.

  • Proactive partnership with internal contacts to facilitate timely resolution of issues or problems presented by customers and/or brokers

  • Presenting products, services, and plan design information to meet customer needs

  • Addressing questions and concerns regarding any aspect of our product offering

***This position may be worked remotely from home (Cottage Worker).

Your Expertise

What you’ll need to succeed:


  • 5 plus years of Group Insurance claims experience.

  • Proven external broker/consultant relationships.

  • Thorough understanding of all Group Insurance products and strategies.

  • Superior communication skills including oral and written.

  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to facilitate meetings.

  • Must exhibit a consultative approach with strong problem-solving skills, in complex situations or problems.

  • Expertise in relationship management with internal and external partners.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Detail orientated individual with strong organizational and time management skills, and deadline driven.

           

*Note: Prudential is required by Colorado law to include the salary range for this role when hiring a Colorado resident. Salary range specific to Colorado: $92,600 - $125,400 + discretionary incentive bonus + benefits.   Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to  the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.  In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
