$14.00 - $15.00/Hour, DOE

• Shifts will vary: 1PM-3AM
  


• Shifts may include weekends as well as holidays.

• Serve customers coffee and pastry items


• Stock various stations


• Possess a friendly, outgoing demeanor


• Use and cleaning of an espresso machine, blenders, and register system


• Operates cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus). 


• Sets up appropriate cashier bank.


• Documents cash received and charges made.


• Identifies customer needs and refers to appropriate department for follow-up when necessary.


• Collects data for cash control.


• Stocking refrigerators with beverages, condiments etc.


• Cleaning, sanitizing, polishing general work areas, this includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and throwing trash.


• Prepare and gather items needed for meal service.


• Provides exceptional service to all guests.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Barista experience preferred 


• Ability to work well with customers as well as co-workers


• Follow café guidelines concerning guest services, food and physical safety, maintenance and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all times


• Reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.


• Background check and drug screen required.


• Food Handlers Certification Required 


• General office standards of dress and behavior



• Basic math, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and decimals

PREFERRED: Extensive cashier experience, experience with catering, fast food service, any prep work or any food handling experience. Experience working in kitchens of facilities or institutions that provide meals to large groups of people on a daily basis.

MINIMUM REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED. Six (6) months previous experience working with the public in a customer service role.
