Scope of Work

Blue Yonder Software is currently seeking a Strategic Transformation Director (Manufacturing) to join our Strategic Transformation Practice in North America. This is a virtual/remote role that will report to the Strategic Transformation Sr. Director located in North America.

As part of the Strategic Transformation Practice, this role will enhance, support, and promote Blue Yonder's leadership position as a SaaS software provider and by supporting our manufacturing customers' success. This role will bring value to Blue Yonder's customers by ensuring alignment between the customer's business processes, people, and technology consumption.

What you'll do

• Provide Industry expertise by demonstrating deep domain knowledge in manufacturing to guide clients toward improved processes to drive profit, enhance resource effectiveness, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.




• Demonstrate strong facilitation skills to lead clients into new solutions, business process, ways of working, and SaaS based technology. Ability to facilitate in person and in remote situations.




• Working knowledge of industry best practices and demonstrate thought leadership in supply chain processes.




• Assist customers by recommending an implementation roadmap that will lead companies to faster benefit achievement and increase their SaaS software consumption.




• Maintain a collaborative working relationship with sales, product management, consulting partners and customer success to decrease the clients' time to value.




• Ability to lead project teams, interact with the project leadership team and deliver value for customers.




• Prepare and deliver presentations and publications for appropriate industry conferences and forums.

What we're looking for

• BS/BA degree equivalent required; MA, MS or MBA preferred.




• Consulting Experience.




• Experience Implementing SaaS software.




• Functional experience in any of the following industries: operational manufacturing, CPG, Pharmaceutical, Metals & Mining, Automotive, Healthcare or Semiconductor industry.




• Strong knowledge of Supply Planning, S&OP and Forecasting.




• Knowledge of change management programs is a plus.




• Experience in End-to-End design, multichannel and international network design, and SaaS implementations.




• Experience in the delivery of strategy consulting, either from the perspective of a third-party consultancy or as part of an in-house strategy function.




• Deep knowledge of the pertinent business processes (i.e. strategic core manufacturing & distribution processes).




• Ability to resolve complex problems with little to no guidance.




• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation and client relationship building skills.




• Commercial instinct to discover and develop new opportunities.




• Impressive executive demeanor, team oriented and collaborative nature.




• Demonstrates independence in action, decision making, goal-oriented and results driven.




• Motivated, confident, self-sufficient and able to contribute from day one.
