Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Supply Chain and USAF RSRA Program Leader on the staff of a management-consulting program located in Dayton, OH with LMI Consulting. The Supply Chain and United States Air Force (USAF) Requirements Support Readiness Analysis Program Management position is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio and will lead a team of up to 20 Air Force Supply Chain experts, and data analysts in analyzing logistics and supply chain processes and information systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing policies and procedures. This is a full-time position designed to provide responsive analysis support for ongoing and ad hoc logistics analysis efforts.

Responsibilities

    Lead a team of experts in assessing supply chain operations, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and devising solutions.
  • Act as LMI's interface with the Air Force Contracting Office Representative to facilitate successful execution of all on-going and ad hoc analyses.

  • Oversee team efforts in: (1) managing client priorities, workstreams ; (2) providing subject matter expertise in logistics, maintenance, sustainment, and operations; (3) designing, developing, testing and implementing applications and changes, as well as provide resolutions for legacy logistics systems, existing application problems

  • Assist in evaluating alternative logistics concepts using supply chain theory.

  • Support projects analyzing existing system-support supply chains (including, inventory management, maintenance, and distribution) in government organizations like the Department of Defense (DoD) and the United States Air Force.

  • Support projects that re-design or enhance system-support via supply chains.

  • Analyze and assess government agency logistics and supply chain policies and procedures against current performance metrics and make recommendations on policy and/or process improvements.

  • Create and present briefings and reports to communicate findings and recommendations and scheduled Program Management Reviews.

  • Assist in identifying new logistics and supply chain business opportunities for LMI.

  • Provide program management support, perform data analysis, develop briefings and papers for all levels of government agency leadership, and conduct research in support of logistics strategy and supply chain initiatives.

Qualifications


  • Current DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Extensive knowledge of U.S. Air Force logistics systems and processes.

  • Extensive knowledge of optimization and simulation techniques.

  • Bachelors Degree, Masters preferred

  • More than 10 years of experience in supporting U.S. Air Force logistics planning, operations, processes/policies, systems.

  • Good quantitative and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.

  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, and ability to effectively interact with clients at all levels within Government and industry.

  • Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.

  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.

  • Availability for occasional travel.
