The Wellington at Dayton is excited to offer a Full Time Cook position.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to prepare food items within scheduled time frames, follows menu cycles, noting changes or substitutions, cleans and maintains food service areas, maintains quality of food served, quantity prepared, and sanitization of food preparation area.  Assures the resident food needs or dietary needs, and preferences are known.  Assures staff, resident, and guest meals are accounted for daily.  Observes problems, concerns, or issues with food service and communicates them appropriately.  Observes changes in residents statuses, needs, or preferences and communicates those appropriately.

Employment Requirements:

Ability to adhere to Assisted Living and Independent Living principles in providing services.  Ability to prepare and serve a wide range of foods skillfully and follow any direction from Dietary Director.
