Job Description:
- Accountable for engineering delivery for medium to large sized programs, projects and maintenance on our technology systems.
- Provide leadership in delivering technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability and reliability
- Build and grow a high-performance team of software engineers and technical leaders thru recruitment, coaching, engagement and performance management
- Build and nurture a culture of quality, ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement and data driven decision making
- Drive process improvements using Agile best practices, continuous deployment, continuous integration and test-driven development
- Manage critical vendor relationships and activities
- 15 years of software development experience building customer facing products
- Must have 5 years of people management experience leading engineering teams
- Experience in implementation of leading Financial Services products and solutions, and system integration Projects
- Prior experience in managing Fraud, AML, KYC, Sanctions Platforms and delivering end to end solutions are preferred
- Experience and expertise in Java eco-system - Spring, micro-services, RDBMS, NoSQL, JPA, Messaging, Rest , and familiar with TDD and CICD delivery
- Experience and skills in establishing and improving metrics-based processes
- Customer-first, results-oriented mindset with sound decision making skills
- Deep organization capabilities, especially in influence, collaboration and communication with ability to develop strong alliances cross-functionally
- Excellent communications, organization, and time management skills
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline
