Duties: As Scrum Master and Senior Developer, interact with the business to understand the requirements. Create specifications/interface contracts. Ensure Scrum rituals (stand ups, retrospections, showcases, Story planning) are followed. Resolve impediments faced in the team. Develop and test software using the Industry tools and languages like: Java programming language; React-js scripting framework for screens; Oracle/SQL for database and interaction; Maven for building applications; Selenium for automated testing; Cucumber for Business Driven Development - testing; Junit for component-level unit testing; GIT (BitBucket) for source repository; Apache/Tomcat for hosting applications; Jenkins for building apps and deployments; Mocito for unit testing; Spring framework for building components; Hibernate framework for Database interaction; Advanced Javascript for user Interface; IBM MQ & Kafka for message transmission; Websockets for publishing messages to the user screens Maria DB for storing data. Use homegrown tools for development, testing and deployments like Application Infrastructure Management (AIM), GAIA, Weave (entitlement management), IDAnywhere (authentication), Jules (artifact deployment), Raven/Blackduck (Security scans), Moneta (Component artifact library), Connect libraries, ITSM (change management tool), Informatica. Deploy and ensure that the application is running fine with sanity checks. Monitor applications are working fine. Provide 3 production support (technical) by interacting with users on multiple geographies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Employer will accept two years of application development experience to meet the Bachelor's degree requirement.

Minimum experience required: 5 years of Application Development and Scrum Master experience, or related experience.

Skills required: Experience with programming/scripting languages including: Advanced Java, XML/XSLT, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX and React JS. Experience with development tools & frameworks including: Spring, Hibernate, POI, Junit, Cucumber, log4j and Java Mailing Service. Experience with Message Oriented Middleware including Websphere Ques/Topics, Kafka, and Java Messaging Service. Experience with build management tools like Jenkins and Source Code management tools including SVN and Bitbucket. Experience with overall SDLC process including Requirement Gathering Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Debugging, Deployment, Documentation and Production Support. Experience with AGILE Model and Scrum Master responsibilities. Experience in Workload Automation/Schedulers including Spring Batch and Autosys scheduler. User Interface skills including use of React JS, Angular JS or CSS. Database and data analysis skills including experience in Oracle, SQL, PLSQL. Experience in release tools including Jenkins, Maven/POM. Experience in fixing security issues in the code using Blackduck and Fortify scan. Experience in application servers/deployments including Tomcat, Websphere app server and Cloud Deployments.
