I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
TheMotion Graphics Designerconceptualizes, designs and produces animations, full screens, opens and bumpers, Chyron templates and graphics for promo spots for stations across the broadcast group. Applicants must be highly creative, motivated, extremely organized and able to handle pressures under very tight deadlines. They must be able to manage quick turnaround of broadcast design assets and manage their time effectively. The successful candidate is able to work independently on projects and also collaborate remotely with a team of fellow designers and promo producers. TheMotion Graphics Designermust be a self-starter who can take on responsibility and follow through with a wide range of graphics and animations.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.Education:
Bachelor degree or a technical degree, or equivalent professional experience in broadcast TV design and video production.
Experience:
A qualified candidate for the position of Motion Graphics Designer will have 3-5+ years of experience in design and animation in a broadcast news or high output ad agency environment. A qualified candidate will also have 3+ years of experience in motion design, graphic design and/or art direction.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must be able to manage quick turnaround of broadcast design assets and manage their time effectively. The successful candidate is able to work independently on projects and also collaborate remotely with a team of fellow designers and promo producers.
