Job Description:

Broadcom Network & Information Security Division has an immediate opening for a talented Sr. agile QA engineer to join the client application development team delivering cloud based Internet security solutions to endpoint users. This role will focus on the early introduction of QA into the project to provide rapid and continuous feedback by participating in design discussions, developing and executing test plans and automating test cases for new features. This role will be embedded in the development team and work closely with them throughout the entire development lifecycle. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in solving complex problems, designing and coding efficient test coverage, and learning about all aspects of our cloud based endpoint security product.

As a member of this team, you will...

• Create test designs that meet their specific requirements




• Develop test cases and execute test plans




• Plan test projects and participate in design and functional specification reviews




• Design, build, deploy, monitor, and manage test environments




• Contribute to and enhance the automation framework




• Contribute to sustaining activities as needed. This requires strong problem analysis, resolution design and excellent collaboration and communication skills with peers, other development teams and support.

Required Skills:

• Experience writing, managing, and using test cases using an automated test tracking tool.




• Knowledge and previous experience with automation using a scripting language; Bash and/or Python preferred




• Strong experience in installation, configuration and debugging of Windows and macOS




• Experience with enterprise endpoint and mobile deployments (software deployment tools, MDM) a plus




• Knowledge of physical and logical network design, TCP/IP, and networking protocols.




• Experience with virtual platforms/hypervisors




• Experience with a cloud system (e.g. AWS, GCP) is a strong plus




• Strong experience in installation, configuration and debugging of Active Directory or other Identity Providers is desired




• SAML and PKI experience is helpful




• Must be able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently




• Experience working in an Agile environment




• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years experience is required
