As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead definition, requirement gathering and delivery of projects. You will manage project lifecycles from inception to close out, to include resource scheduling, cost accounting, invoicing and coordination with vendors, business partners and customers.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Manage and complete professional services group projects in geographic area, as assigned

  • Manage internal and external resource schedules, as projects require

  • Manage projects by following the ePlus PMO structure

  • Mentor a serve as a senior resource to other team members

  • Execute customer-facing project meetings

  • Work with customers to gather and document requirements, prioritize and develop schedules

  • Ensure schedules are met on time and within budget

  • Support ePlus financial objectives by forecasting project revenues on a weekly, monthly and annual basis, as applicable to the projects

  • Analyze project variances and initiative corrective action, as necessary

  • Assist sales team members in identifying and closing new opportunities for ePlus

Job Knowledge/Skills:



  • Strong knowledge and demonstrative ability of Project and Program Management processes and related tools and ability to mentor project managers and peers on best practices including planning, scheduling, and resource management

  • Strong knowledge in IT including ITIL ITSM, Agile SDLC, and related processes and tools

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with business lines, support groups (accounting, legal, contracts management), partners / vendors and IT to develop efficient and scalable processes related to Project, Program and Portfolio Management

  • Superb written and verbal communications skills with ability to present at all levels of the organization

  • Change agent that aligns and adapts to shifts in strategy.

  • Ability to solicit business outcomes, identify initiate and enhance processes to achieve, execute, measure, and adjust to achieve goals

  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, run meetings and build consensus

  • Ability to manage shared and cross-functional teams that includes employees, contractors, and partners including directing tasks, activities, and deliverables

  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and strong follow-up skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills including analysis of multiple options and demonstrative rationalization of recommended solutions

  • Demonstrative ability to define strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning



Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, MBA strongly preferred

  • 10+ years of managing and accountability for complex ITS projects/programs across the enterprise for a medium to large company

  • Experienced leader in delivering customer-facing projects/programs for a technology-based service or solutions provider

  • 5+ years of experience in supervisory role managing cross-functional teams 10+ personnel

  • PMP or comparable related certifications strongly preferred



Physical Requirements of Position:


Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally.
