As a Production Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Meeting and exceeding the customer expectations in quality and deliver product on time and in full. 


• Participating in and contributing to continuous improvement and problem-solving teams


• Ensures smooth handover to on-coming crew by keeping area clean and orderly


• Support safety by bringing forth any unsafe factors and making suggestions on safer ways to do the job

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Minimum (1) one year of manufacturing experience) in a private, public, government or military environment


• Willingness to work weekends; overtime; 12 hour rotating shifts, and short notice call in

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Minimum (3) three years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment


• Possess a (two) year technical degree or higher from and accredited institution


• Experience operating a powered industrial fork truck


• Manufacturing technologies experience in Mixing/Compounding, Coating, Extrusion, Curing, Web Handling, Vision Systems (ISRA), Rotary Die Converting and/or Converting Automation


• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
