3D Systems, a leading global provider of 3D printing solutions, is seeking a fixed asset accountant to join the Americas Controllership team. This individual will report to the Accounting Manager - General Ledger Team. The Americas Controllership includes the Company's controllership functions in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America.
The Senior Fixed Asset Accountant - General Ledger Team is responsible for day-to-day accounting and monthly close activities for both tangible and intangible assets. The ideal candidate will have a mind for numbers and demonstrate high organizational skills.
Primary Job Functions
Responsible for day-to-day accounting and monthly close activities for both tangible and intangible assets, helping to ensure the Company's financial statements and resulting supporting schedules are captured timely, completely, and accurately in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Duties include the recording of tangible and intangible asset activity through subsidiary ledger postings and certain general journal entries as well as monitoring activity though account reconciliations and accounting schedules such as rollforwards, fluctuations and other similar analyses.
Responsible for ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, translating, consolidating, and entering transactions.
Responsible for maintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Responsible for significant leadership and coordination of the periodic fixed asset physical count process.
Responsible for supporting business partners through ad hoc information requests and knowledge sharing.
Responsible for maintaining a complete and effective internal control environment.
Qualifications
Education and Training
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Experience
Three or more years of recent accounting roles, especially within fixed assets
Oracle Financial Systems (preferred)
Hyperion Financial Management ("HFM") (preferred)
Blackline (preferred)
